China Glaze Go Go Pink Stamp Mani

Hello there! Today I have a mani for you that I did for my engagement pictures! My wonderful cousin took some save the date and engagement pictures for my fiance and I last weekend and I had several different outfits so I wanted to give myself a subtle mani that would look nice with all the different outfits. This is what I came up with!

To do this mani I started with three coats of China Glaze Go Go Pink, with a coat of Seche Vite on top to help it dry faster. I was not impressed with the application on this polish. I don't think you could get away with less than three coats on this one. It was very thin and streaky, and I don't feel like it is unique enough to put up with such a bad formula. It's a beautiful color, but not worth the trouble. If I hadn't been planning to stamp over it, I may have added another coat to try and even out all of the streaks.

To stamp this design I used Konad Special Polish in White, and Konad Plate M64. I had some smudging on my thumb but the rest of the mani turned out nicely. I topped it with a coat of Seche Vite. Thanks for looking!

China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard Stamp Mani

Indoor

I did this mani because I wanted to get some use out of my new China Glaze Summer Neons that I had picked up! I can't seem to get enough of neons lately! For this mani I started with two coats of China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard, with a coat of Seche Vite on top, below.

I then stamped my nails with this funky looking starry design from Bundle Monster Plate BM-202, using Konad Special Polish in Black.

Orly Sweet Peacock and Color Club Lumin-icecent Mani

I saw today's idea on Pinterest, but when I try and find the original poster it goes to a blank tumblr that "no longer exists". If anyone knows who created this design, please let me know so I can give them credit!

This design is much easier than it looks! For this mani I used Orly Sweet Peacock, Color Club Lumin-icecent, Orly Tiara and Sinful Colors Midnight Blue. Both of the stamps came from Konad Plate m83.

Thumb - Two coats of Color Club Lumin-icecent. Stamped with Sinful Colors Midnight Blue with Konad Plate m83.

Index - Two coats of Orly Sweet Peacock. I painted Orly Tiara on half, and then laid down a strip of silver striping tape.

Middle - Two coats of Orly Sweet Peacock. I then painted the top half of my nail with Color Club Lumin-icecent and placed a strip of silver striping tape in between the two colors.

Ring Finger - Two coats of Color Club Lumin-icecent with a coat of Orly Tiara on top.

Pinky - Two coats of Color Club Lumin-icecent, stamped a partial design using Sinful Colors Midnight Blue from Konad Plate m83.

I sealed it all in with Seche Vite. Thanks for looking!

Pastel Easter Skittles Stamp Mani

Whoa, that title is a mouthful... lol. This is the design I am wearing for Easter today!

To do this mani, starting with my thumb to my pinky is three coats of China Glaze Go-Go Pink, two coats of Zoya Megan, two coats of China Glaze For Audrey, two coats of Revlon Jaded and two coats of China Glaze Lemon Fizz. All of them have a coat of Seche Vite on top, below.

Then I used Konad Special Polish in White and Bundle Monster Plate BM-211 to stamp this design. I picked this design because it reminded me of little eggs. I think it could double as pebbles in a different color combination, I may need to try that...

Finally, after I had finished the mani I felt like it needed something else. I had debating throwing some flakies or holo glitter on it... but ended up picking out some different colored rhinestones and putting them on my ring finger for a cute accent nail. I am really loving these colors together. Thanks for looking!

Neon Stripes and Color Club Revvvolution Konad Stamp

Hi! I got this cool idea from OMG! Polish 'Em! - she does such adorable mani's! Here is the mani that inspired me. I don't know why I don't really think if doing designs UNDER stamping, but I love how it turned out. To do this mani, I started with two coats of Savvy French White White, below, to make the colors stand out a bit more.

Then, I added stripes using some of my nail art stripers. I used Sinful Colors Me First, Sinful Colors Hey Dear! and L.A. Colors Art Deco Green and put Seche Vite on top before stamping.

Finally, I stamped with Color Club Revvvolution using Konad plate M64, and topped it with Seche Vite. I have used this stamp once before, here. Thanks for looking!

White Party Nails

I had to take a break from Halloween nails because my boyfriend's sister had an AMAZING 40th birthday bash this weekend - and it was a white party.  I had silver, grey and black accessories, so I did this mani to go with my outfit. It was inspired by Cosmetic Cupcake, again! She is so creative :-D

To do this mani I used:

Index -Two coats of Revlon Matte Suede in Powder Puff, one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust, and then I used my Kiss Nail Art Striper in Grey to make vertical lines down the nail.

Middle - Two coats of Color Club Worth the Risque. I stamped the fishnet design using Color Club Revvvolution stamped from Konad plate M57.

Ring - One coat of OPI Your Royal Shine-ness, with two coats of Milani Jewel FX in Silver.

Pinky - Two coats of Sally Hansen Wet Cement, with one coat of Nubar 2010. I added little sprigs using my It's So Easy, Stripe Rite nail art striper in black, and then I added a clear square rhinestone.

Thumb - Two coats of OPI Your Royal Shine-ness, with one coat of Nubar 2010. I stamped the flower design with Color Club Revvvolution from Konad plate M57. I also added another square rhinestone. The stamp doesn't show up very dark in these pictures, but it was a much stronger contrast in person.

Everything has Seche Vite topcoat on it. I think this turned out really cute, and I received lots of compliments on it which is always fun!

Look at that shine :)

I had to do a close up of the beautiful holographic polish ... love!

Konad

I decided that I would go through some older nail pictures that I took on my phone over the last few months (before I started taking better quality pictures on my camera), and start sharing them. Here are a few that I have done since I got my Konad stamping kit, which you can order here. Also, they have free shipping if you spend $20, which makes online purchases so much more tempting!

I have to put a disclaimer on this one, it was a bit of a fail because it was my first try using my Konad stamper. To do this mani I used two coats of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (much brighter in real life - a neon), and I stamped this design using Konad Special Nail Polish in White - plate M63. Konad recommends that you use their special nail polish because it's much thicker so it won't dry as fast. However, if you work quickly, you can easily use any polish in your collection! I don't think I will be using their special nail polish again. Yikes.

For my index, middle and pinky I used two coats of Revlon Cooper Penny. For my thumb and ring finger I used two coats of Milani One Coat Glitter in Gold Glitz. I stamped a flower design from Konad plate M57 with Sinful Colors Rich in Heart. Sealed everything in with Seche Vite.

For this mani I used two coats of Color Club Worth The Risque, and stamped it with Konad plate M57 in Revvvolution. I added 3 silver rhinestones to my ring finger, and put Seche Vite on top.

This is two coats of Misa Mega Margarita with Konad plate M83 stamped using Sinful Colors Rich in Heart, Seche Vite on top.

This is two coats of China Glaze Tree Hugger with Konad plate M63 stamped using Sinful Colors Why Not, Seche Vite on top.

On my thumb, middle and pinky I used two coats of Butter London Knees Up, and stamped using Konad plate M63 in Color Club Worth the Risque. On my index and ring finger I used two coats of of Worth the Risque and stamped with Knees Up, using the same plate. This one ended up a bit too Christmas-y, like a Christmas wrapping paper - very pretty though.

On my thumb and ring finger I used two coats of Ulta Taupe on a Rope and stamped using Konad plate M63 with Color Club Revvvolution. On my index, middle and pinky I used two coats of Finger Paints Military Green and used the same color and stamp.

This picture doesn't show the stamp very well, but this is two coats of Orly Passion Fruit stamped with Konad plate M64 in Color Club Wild at Heart. After this I added french tips using scotch tape to make straight lines, using Wild at Heart again. Seche Vite on top.

This is two coats of Essie Case study (which I swatched here), I really like this polish. I stamped using Konad plate M64 with Color Club Revvvolution. Seche Vite on top.

I have one more tip for stamping. I like to add a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat on top of my main color before I stamp because it helps my nails dry much faster. Your nails need to be super dry before you stamp, because you will need to press rather hard to make sure it goes on smoothly. I have had a few disasters where I didn't wait long enough!
