Apples

I saw this idea on Cosmetic Cupcake, she does that cutest nail art! I love her blog. It was also the Apple Festival in my hometown, so it felt like a good excuse to do an apple mani.

For this design I used a coat of Palladio Moisture Surge to protect my nail, then I added two coats of Orly Love Each Other to add a little shimmer. To make the apples I used Finger Paints Gogh Red!, and on my ring finger I added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust on top of the red. To draw the leaves I used my It's So Easy Stripe Rite brush in green, and for the stems I used a thin nail art brush I bought on Ebay and used Ulta Taupe On a Rope. To add the shine spots I used Two Way nail art pen and brush that I bought at Rite Aid, and used the pen side to add a dot and line. I sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat.
