Milani Plaid

I saw another idea on the Pretty Project Tumblr, it's such a great place for nail art ideas!

To do this mani I started off with a base coat of Palladio Moisture Surge Nail Repair, which I bought at Sally Beauty Supply.
 - For my index, middle and pinky I used two coats of Milani Neon in Fresh Teal. Then painted some plaid using my It's So Easy, Stripe Rite nail art striper in black, and added Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat on top.
 - On my ring finger and thumb I used two coats of Sinful Colors Secret Admirer. I also added two rhinestones that I got at Sally Beauty, I put a coat of Seche Vite down, stuck on my rhinestones (one teal and one silver) and then sealed them in with another coat of Seche Vite.

The Milani Fresh Teal doesn't show up true to color in these pictures, it is actually much closer to the bottle color, darker then my camera would capture. I really love this color, but I don't think I would ever call this a neon... not quite bright enough for me to consider it a neon!

  1. Love the way the rhinestone catches the light in the second picture! I agree, this didn't seem like a neon to me, either. But that's a good thing for fall.
