To do this mani I started with two coats of China Glaze Blue Year's Eve, with a coat of Seche Vite on top, below.
Then I used a nail art brush and painted lines coming up from the base of my nail with Savvy French White White, so that it would let the other colors stand out against the blue background.
Then I put China Glaze City Siren over the white on a few of the stripes.
Then, I did the same with China Glaze Riveting, adding a few more stripes with orange. I used Riveting in another mani here if you would like to see it.
Then finally, I filled in the rest of the white with China Glaze Lighthouse, and then went back and kept adding more stripes of Lighthouse and Riveting on top of everything until I felt like it looked right. Then I put Seche Vite on top. I am really happy with how it turned out - thanks for looking!
They look great!! Good job! :D
ReplyDeleteYour so sweet! Thanks for the awesome idea and tutorial :)
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous! If it were me, I would wear them forever. Well, you know that's not true. But for at least 5 days.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!! I tried them from the tutorial you mentioned, but mine don't look nearly as awesome as yours!
